Belvidere Township is a client that gave me the opportunity to redesign their website for increased functionality and visual appeal to benefit those living in that community. Below is the completed Figma design file.
This section of the design file showcases my design process. I developed the color palate and workshopped the icons as well as the floral decoration featured on the website. I also organized the header menu in a way that is intuitive and contains all the necessary information. The goal with the navigation is that someone is able to access the information they need within three clicks. The menu is design with two drop downs and a contact page. With reduced header options, the user is able to more easily find the information they are looking for.
Here is the result of the final project. As you can see, there were some changes made during development. My web developer teammate consulted myself regarding the difficulties he faced when creating the website and coding the content. Through our collaboration, we worked through the difficulty to produce the final product.
